±«Óătv’s final exhibition of the 2015-2016 academic year features
artwork by senior ±«Óătv art department majors graduating this May. The show debuts April
18 and runs through May 14. An artist reception will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May
14.
The show will feature a compilation of pieces produced by the students throughout their time in the art department. Featured students include:
This show will represent a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, ceramics photography, printmaking, fibers and graphic art.
“What I love the most about this show is that these students are displaying a well-rounded knowledge of many different mediums,” said Dawn Katzer, instructor of art and director of the Driskill Art Gallery. “The students have decided to display a variety of their work, not just works from the area in which they are basing their careers or their particular emphasis.”
The Driskill Art Gallery, situated on the ±«Óătv campus in the Jester Learning and Performance Center, is free of admission and open to the public on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
