±«Óãtv, in cooperation with Convoy of Hope, will host a free grocery distribution on its Bolivar campus on Saturday, August 22, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (or while supplies last).

New Partnership with Bolivar High School allows BHS students to earn Cybersecurity Dual Credit
±«Óãtv is excited to announce a new partnership with Bolivar High School that will allow their students to earn dual credit for cybersecurity courses. Students in this groundbreaking program will be able to take entry level cybersecurity courses through ±«Óãtv and gain hands on experience that will prepare them for IT positions directly after their high school graduation.
±«Óãtv President Rick Melson Accepts Call to Serve as President of Moody Bible Institute
The ±«Óãtv Board of Trustees today announced that Dr. Rick Melson, the University's 26th president, has accepted the call to become the next President of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Melson will continue serving as president of ±«Óãtv through mid-August, with the Board initiating a comprehensive transition process to ensure continued momentum and stability.

±«Óãtv Announces Two Leadership Promotions
Dr. Rick Melson, President of ±«Óãtv, has announced two promotions for cabinet members of the university. Dr. Jonathon Woodyard has been promoted to Vice President for Student Development and Dean of Chapel. Clark Sheehy has been promoted to Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics.
±«Óãtv Receives an "A" from ACTA's What Will They Learn?® Initiative
The American Council of Trustees and Alumni (ACTA)'s What Will They Learn?® (WWTL) initiative grants ±«Óãtv in Bolivar, Missouri, an "A" grade for the strength of its general education program.

YouthLead Conference scheduled for September 19th, 2026
Designed to help youth ministers and key student leaders reach Generation Z, the 2026 YouthLead conference will be a day of training and fellowship on ±«Óãtv's Bolivar campus. The conference will help youth ministers learn how to create leaders and will simultaneously equip current student leaders to serve more effectively. Warren Gasaway, the Generations Team Leader for the Arkansas Baptist Convention, will be the keynote speaker.

±«Óãtv Senior Samantha Paige Dillon presents at Sigma Zeta National Conference 2026
Three ±«Óãtv students with professor Dr. Dennis Siegfried attended the Sigma Zeta National Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana; during the convention, Paige Dillon presented her work, "Cytotoxicity of Linsitinib against HeLa Cells".
