BOLIVAR, Mo. – ±«Óătv’s Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) organization had eight students qualify for the PBL Nationals on June 23-26 in Baltimore, Md., following an impressive showing at the PBL State Leadership Competition on April 7 in Springfield.
±«Óătv PBL had 18 top-five finishes, including five first-place winners at the state
competition. ±«Óătv competitors included:

First place – Cybersecurity
Second place – Computer Applications
Third place – Computer Concepts
Second place – Networking Concepts
Fifth place – Cybersecurity

“I am very proud of our team; they competed against some of the best in Missouri and did an excellent job representing our university,” said Meilani Conley, ±«Óătv PBL advisor and instructor of computer science. “They diligently prepared and practiced for their written and performance events. I am blessed to say that their hard work paid off and, for the fifth year in a row, we will compete on the national stage.”
In the last four years, ±«Óătv PBL students have claimed 21 top-10 national finishes at the PBL National Leadership Conference.
Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) is a nonprofit education association with a quarter million students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields.
