Events commemorate ±«Óãtv Presidential Inauguration
In celebration of, and the preparation for, the inauguration of ±«Óãtv's 25th President, Eric A. Turner, Ed.D., on Friday, April 26, a number of events commemorating the occasion were held throughout the week.

The Department of Music of ±«Óãtv will present its annual Masterworks Concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 3, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

±«Óãtv's Board of Trustees voted to affirm a status update on the progress of the University's strategic planning process that was presented to the Board during its April 16 meeting.

±«Óãtv PBL team qualifies nine for nationals
±«Óãtv's Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) organization had nine students qualify for the PBL National competition after an outstanding finish at the PBL State Leadership Conference on April 13 in Springfield.

Liberty Utilities donates to renovation project at ±«Óãtv
Liberty Utilities - Empire District recently delivered a $15,000 check to ±«Óãtv that is part of $30,000 pledge toward the $175,000 renovation of the Lloyd & Frances Randolph Meditation Chapel.

±«Óãtv hosts more than 200 students at MCTM regional math contest
About 260 students from southwest Missouri elementary and intermediate schools gathered at ±«Óãtv on April 8 for the Missouri Council of Teachers of Mathematics (MCTM) Southwest Regional Competition hosted by the ±«Óãtv Department of Mathematics.
