The ±«Óãtv department of music hosted a band competition as part of the annual Homecoming parade on Oct. 19, 2019, through downtown Bolivar and the ±«Óãtv campus.

Canfield, Manuel named ±«Óãtv Homecoming King and Queen
Aaron Canfield and Laura Manuel were announced as the 2019 ±«Óãtv Homecoming King and Queen at halftime of the Bearcats' football game against Quincy University on Oct. 19.

±«Óãtv recognizes alumni with Life Service Awards during Honors Chapel
Five ±«Óãtv alumni were honored with special awards in recognition of living lives of service at Honors Chapel on Friday, Oct. 18. The event marks the beginning of Homecoming festivities and also featured the presentation of the 2019 Homecoming court.

±«Óãtv selects Kimbrough as theology professor
Matt Kimbrough, Ph.D., will join the faculty at ±«Óãtv in January 2020. He will be an Assistant Professor of Theology in The Courts Redford College of Theology and Ministry.Â
±«Óãtv to present alumni awards during Homecoming Honors Chapel
Homecoming festivities at ±«Óãtv will begin with Honors Chapel at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in Pike Auditorium, when five alumni will be recognized for living lives of service.

Ruggiero-Mezzadri concert opens ±«Óãtv Community Concert Series on Oct. 17
The ±«Óãtv Community Concert Series opens its second season with a concert presented by Susan Ruggiero-Mezzadri at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 17 in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus of ±«Óãtv.

±«Óãtv Student Association partners with Operation Christmas Child
±«Óãtv's Student Association and University Ministries are working together to collect shoeboxes campus-wide for Operation Christmas Child, which is a project of Samaritan's Purse, an international Christian relief and evangelism organization.
