Baseball star Burrell joins ±«Óãtv Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2021
Now a member of the 2021 ±«Óãtv Athletics Hall of Fame class, Jack Burrell was a hard-throwing right-hander who was a starting pitcher for the Bearcats for three seasons. An injury sent him to the bullpen, moving him into a relief role his senior season.

Recognizing that agriculture is a major economic driver in Missouri and particularly in southwest Missouri, ±«Óãtv is adding a minor in agriculture, with classes starting in 2022. A kickoff event to introduce the new minor was held Thursday evening, July 29, on the Bolivar campus.
