The ±«Óătv Department of Music presents a Chamber Orchestra concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 in the Meyer Recital Hall in the Casebolt Music Center on the ±«Óătv campus.
The Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Andy Johnston, will include a variety of Baroque, classical, twentieth-century and traditional works such as a suite by French Baroque composer Marc Antoine Charpentier and a transcription for strings of Bela Bartok’s “Allegro Barbaro.” Other selections include works by Mozart and Handel, as well as a few portions from “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
The ±«Óătv Chamber Orchestra will include ±«Óătv faculty associate Carol Harrison on violin and guest performers Curtis Goss, assistant professor of language and literature, Josie Adenuga, Elizabeth Johnston, and Celka Ojakangas.
