±«Óãtv's 2017 Computer and Information Sciences (CIS) Department Advisory Board met early in the spring semester in the newly renovated Taylor Free Enterprise Center on the Bolivar campus, in conjunction with the Robert W. Plaster College of Business and Computer Science Spring Career Fair.

Homeschool Health Fair returns to Springfield on April 28

±«Óãtv PBL qualifies nine students for national competition
±«Óãtv's Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) organization had nine students qualify for the PBL Nationals on June 24-27 in Anaheim, Calif., following an impressive showing at the PBL State Leadership Competition on April 1 in Springfield.

Free concert to be presented by ±«Óãtv's Chamber Orchestra
The ±«Óãtv Chamber Orchestra will be in concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, in the Meyer Recital Hall in the Casebolt Music Center on the Bolivar campus.

±«Óãtv's top competitive programming team took an early lead and didn't look back in capturing the Consortium for Computing Sciences Mid-South Region Programming Contest on March 31 at Lyon College in Batesville, Ark.

±«Óãtv Speaking Bearcats finish in top 3 at national tournament
±«Óãtv's Speaking Bearcats finished in the top 3 at the Pi Kappa Delta National Tournament and Convention, brought home a national championship in literary criticism and had two members named All-American at the event held March 22-25, 2017, at Boise State University, in Boise, Idaho.
