Speaking Bearcats named overall champion at tournaments

The ±«Óãtv Speaking Bearcats were crowned the overall champion at the Missouri Mule/Dale Carnegie Swing speech and debate tournament Oct. 20-22, hosted by the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.

Kirchner has award-winning poetry book published

About 350 number-crunching students from southwest Missouri elementary and middle schools gathered at ±«Óãtv on Oct. 7 for math contests hosted by the ±«Óãtv Department of Mathematics.

Summers receives ±«Óãtv library award

±«Óãtv student Hailey Summers of Berryville, Ark., was honored by the ±«Óãtv University Libraries as the Outstanding Student Assistant of the Month for September 2017.

Tickets on sale for 'Ye Olde Madrigal Dinners'

Tickets are now on sale for the 14th annual "Ye Olde Madrigal Dinners," which will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 and Friday, Dec. 1 in the McClelland Dining Facility on the ±«Óãtv Bolivar campus.

Lynch to speak about Missouri Constitution

±«Óãtv's Department of History and Political Science will present Judge Gary Lynch, Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 11, in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.
