±«Óãtv has commissioned an external peer assessment committee that will lead a University-wide dialogue regarding faith and learning. Included within this assessment will be deeper conversations and evaluations regarding orthodoxy.
Committee of trustees conducts appeal hearing
Pursuant to the appeal process as outlined in ±«Óãtv's Faculty Handbook, the Educational Policies and Personnel Committee of the ±«Óãtv Board of Trustees met Dec. 21. The committee conducted an approximately five-hour appeal hearing with an employee.
Fong presents at international conference in Malaysia

Lena Campbell, housekeeper, and Paula Steiert, instructor of health sciences, received the Staff and Faculty Life Beautiful Awards during the annual employee Christmas banquet Dec. 6 at ±«Óãtv.

±«Óãtv honored employees with employment anniversary milestones, beginning with five years, during the annual employee Christmas banquet Dec. 6. The employees recognized have given a total of 685 years of service to ±«Óãtv.
±«Óãtv team, faculty member assist with disaster relief
Led by Gabe Craig, a senior chemistry education and intercultural studies major from Park Hills, Mo., the ±«Óãtv Disaster Relief team of Sara McDonald, Hannah Gibbs, Jacob Showers and Haden Liska spent their Thanksgiving break in Bristol, Fla., helping residents clean up after Hurricane Michael, which ravaged the Florida panhandle in October.

±«Óãtv's Dr. Bob Glasgow, professor of mathematics, was presented with the Leroy Sachs Award for lifetime achievement (or contribution) on Nov. 30 at the Missouri Council of Teachers of Mathematics Fall Conference in Columbia.
