Homecoming queen - and king - candidates named
±«Óãtv students have nominated five seniors as candidates for Homecoming Queen - and, new this year, five candidates for Homecoming King. These candidates have been selected by their peers and the winning King and Queen will be announced at the homecoming football game at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1.

Maier to give poetry reading at ±«Óãtv
The Barnett-Padgett Literary Artist Series of ±«Óãtv will be presenting poet Jennifer Maier in a reading of her works at 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 22, in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.
Letterman to raise suicide awareness during Sept. 7 Chapel
The week of Sept. 5-11 is Suicide Awareness and Prevention Week and ±«Óãtv welcomes Jana Letterman as she shares her story during Chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, in Pike Auditorium.

Hungerford named NACAC Communications Committee Chair
Charlie Hungerford, director of admissions for the Mercy College of Nursing and Health Sciences of ±«Óãtv, has been selected Communications Committee Chair for the National Association for College Admission Counseling and will serve a two-year term.
